As the end of march approaches i am reminded that it is time for a soesbe family update. if you aren't in gillette it has been a more than usual odd weather month. we had one decent snow storm in the beginning and then one whoppin blizzard in the end and then several days here and there that went up to 70! I think mother nature is a little more confused than she normally is for these parts. But now the family!!
James: still working and doin what he does. He took a very nice, if maybe a little short, trip by himself to his family ranch in south dakota to help for a few days with calving. he came back exhausted but satisfied.
Samantha: still doing what i do (lol). Actually I am trying to go back to work, the problem is finding a daycare so that i can find a job and vise versa. Almost everywhere in town will take baylie, but there are only about 3 that will take daisy (due to age) and to the best of my knowledge they are all full for her age group. Talk about EXPENSIVE!! I almost passed out when an in-home wanted $1100 for both. (that's per month folks!)
Baylie: was supposed to start preschool, but due to a teacher being absent and the weather she's only made it 2 times this month. *sad* but she seemed to really enjoy it, so that's good. not too much new for her, just being a 3 year old i guess! she's been very upset at me this week because the weather has been too cold for her to go outside and play.
Daisy: is still waiting...on 4 teeth (which at least 2 of are coming) and walking. yes i know my 15 month old should be walking by now, but no such luck. she could if she wanted to, but she has no desire unless your holding her hands. however, she can get up on the couch, down from the couch, my bed and various other things, she is a monkey climber, its amazing. she can go up and down stairs and seems to be afraid of nothing in particular....except walking!! its very frustrating for me as she is getting very heavy.
*new addition to the family*
Bob: bob is my step dad who just moved up here at the 1st of the month. he's living with us and works for L&H welding. we are trying to save him some money by doing this arrangement. so far it seems to be working just fine. if all goes well he will stay with us until may when they do an evaluation and hopefully give him a raise!
I think that's it for this month. We made the arrangements to take a family vacation to san diego this fall, that should be fun. but not too much new here. I hope everyone who follows my blog or that reads this is doing well. TTFN!!
