(yes i know she's almost 18 months and just now started, but you have to let them decide when they're ready!!) okay next up is just a little early summer fun. and the last video is of a finally walking daisy! she's my little weeble wobble!!

baylie's inspecting the dirt in the sand box very closely. she had to have the cap on i dunno why cuz it was like 80 out!

ears teeth and tummy...

First let me appologize for the serious lack of photography in the last few blogs. I seem to have missplaced my camera. As soon as I find it I will get more pics up!

We took daisy to the ENT today because of all the ear infections she's had. They want to do ear tubes on her, that will happen on june 5th

Baylie went to the dentist today too for her 6 month cleaning- she has 6 cavities. But before you judge let me say "not my fault!" We brush but if you'll remeber a pervious blog she has hypoplasia which is a weakening and darkening of the enamal. the dentist was supprised that we held cavities off this long. but she has to have 3 crowns and 3 fillings. so hi ho hi ho off to casper we go to have what they call oral surgery done. that happens on june 24th.

then of course ya'll read about my slice and dice appointment on the 9th of june.

woo hoo what else can go wrong...

Our new potty chair

So we needed a travel potty that i could just stick in my diaper bag or carry with me in my car at all times, after much searching we came across the Potette Plus, you can get it in just the regular too and its a little cheaper. I searched for the best price. now there was a site that had it a couple dollars cheaper than the one i ended up getting, but i wanted it in pink not red and it was more that way. But this website was awesome for all things baby and mommy or mommy-to-be. Any ways they come in pink, blue, and red. the plus means that you can make it into a potty chair or the legs swivel out so you can set it on a big people toilet (like in walmart) as well.
now i know some out there will think i am nuts, well maybe i am, but the plastic refill liners for this thing are like 7 or 8 bucks for 10...i am making my own with used walmart bags and pantie liners. i can make like 50 of them for about 4 bucks...much better. But the device is great, it folds up nice and the legs lock into place so no worries there...i highly recommend one! you can see all the styles here.

A Super Early Update

I know its a little early for an update, but one is needed i believe.

So last Friday James went to the dentist for what was supposed to be a few fillings, but ended up getting yet another tooth pulled. when the Dr pulled it he broke (fractured) part of James jaw. so he's been in some pretty good pain the last few days.

Yesterday (Monday) I made a solo trip to Denver to see a special gastric surgeon. After a long but, uneventful trip down and the telling of my tale the Dr. told me a few things. 1. he wants to do one maybe two surgeries on me (I'll get into that in a bit) 2. if the second operation has to happen (which is the gastric pace-maker) if James and i want to have another baby in a few years all they have to do is shut it off and then turn it back on after baby 3. he thinks the majority of my problems are caused (obviously by a slow stomach) but also from a ton of reflux.

So the surgeries: the first one is scheduled for June 9th. I will spare you the long hard to say name if the surgery, but i can tell you what they are going to do. After some tests here to determine how it should be done, they will make 5 to 7 small incisions in my stomach inflate it full of C02 and do this laproscopically IE. with a camera. Then they will take the upper part of my stomach and wrap it around the lower part of my esophagus. This will effectively make it so that food and air can go down but never back up thus fixing the reflux. While they are in there they may decide to do a pyloric widening...which just means they may widen the opening from the bottom of my stomach to my upper intestine to allow food to pass easier.

The second maybe surgery is the pace-maker. Its a small pocket watch device inserted in the fatty tissue in your abdomen, it has 2 wires that are attached to the lower part of your stomach. The device is turned on by your Dr. and it send small frequent shocks to your stomach. this is mostly to offset the nausea, but in some patients it has also helped their motility (how fast food is passed)! We will only do this one if the first one doesn't take care of all the problems.

The best part is that both of these is that in a small percentage of patients they have help to speed up digestion rates. So its possible that it could do that for me too!!

Well on the journey home my car started acting funny outside of Cheyenne, and then completely gave up in Wheatland, James had to come get me and the car at 10pm last night we didn't make it home till 2 this morning. we are both really tired.

I will give an update on Daisy's ears on Wednesday when i know more.

I want your opinion

Okay everyone-please read all this before leaving me your friends. Here's my delema. I have an appointment on monday to see a gastro-sugeon doctor. The appointment is a consult to see if I am a candidate or need a gastric stimulator (stomach pace maker). That is not the problem. I want to have an other baby-but not for a while if possible. That's not the problem either. Unless: If he (the dr.) deems it necessary and that I should need it soon then I will have it put in and then I will not be able to have an other baby because they dont think its safe to be pregnant with the pacemaker in. NOW here is the real problem...if the dr thinks i should have it but it can wait (but it wont wait for long) then it would be much sooner than i want to have another baby. Now i know that i should just be happy with the 2 beautiful wonderful children i have and i am but part of me wants that 3rd baby-it part of the dream i've always had. so my delema and fear is that if i dont have that 3rd baby i will regret it. I mean obviously if the dr says i need it now then i will do what he says, but if i can wait well i dont know what to do. i have heard mixed things about my condition and beging pregnant so that makes me nervous too...i just dont know. What would you do if you were in my spot?IF the dr says it can wait for a while would you try for the 3rd baby even if it was several years before you wanted it? or would you buckle and get the surgery? What would you do?!
