nothings happening

well, we've been working on potty training for the better part of the week and nothing has really happened beyond that first day- its kind of frustrating. i know success comes to those who wait, but my patients is running thin these days. I understand daisy not having much success, but baylie should be picking this right up and she's not. maybe i'm doing something wrong....

Sam-
I am not going to be making it up to the shower. My mom is taking over hosting duties but i am sure she would appreciate help. Let me know if you would like to help her and i can get you her phone # or email.

Patience, patience, patience. Baylie's old enough to work on it, but Daisy is too young to expect much. YOU may be trained to take her when you expect her to go, but she's not going to be ready for a while. Freud would say that starting her too early can cause issues later.
With Baylie, offer lots of opportunities for success (leave potty chair in a room where she spends lots of time, let her sit on her potty when you sit on yours, etc.). Don't push her or scold for wetting her diaper. Just keep encouraging her and eventually she'll get it.
